Laboratories and facilities

  1. Laboratory

    Industrial Computer Engineering (ICE) Laboratory

A reconfigurable Industry 4.0/5.0 research and teaching facility for cyber-physical production systems, robotics, machine vision, industrial data analysis and digital twins, connecting real manufacturing cells through logistics, OPC UA and a software-defined control and monitoring infrastructure.

Software we maintain

  1. Tools and APIs

    HIFSuite

A family of tools and APIs built around the HDL Intermediate Format (HIF), providing a common representation for heterogeneous hardware-description languages and supporting conversion, model manipulation, abstraction and refinement, verification and fault injection.

  2. LibraryMIT

    EDACurry

An open-source multi-language framework for creating, translating and manipulating transistor-level netlists through a unified abstract syntax tree, with C++ and Python interfaces for conversion, analysis, defect injection and custom analog-design workflows.

  3. Framework

    CHASE

A modular requirement-engineering framework for cyber-physical systems that turns heterogeneous specifications into assume-guarantee contracts and connects requirement capture, formalisation, validation, synthesis and system-level design exploration.

  4. Operating systemMIT

    MentOS

An educational 32-bit Linux-like operating system, published with public bachelor- and master-level course slides.

Open-source ecosystems

  1. Ecosystem

    The GLACIER Project

An open and extensible ecosystem for virtual prototyping, digital twins and early testing of cyber-physical production systems, connecting deterministic simulation, heterogeneous machine models, manufacturing software and communication behaviour before deployment.
